Online sermons recording format changed We have changed the format (from WMA to MP3) to allow the sermons to be played on devices like the Apple iPod and other media players. Listening on your iPodUsing an iPod is the easiest way to get online sermons on the move. Once set up, the latest sermons will be copied to your iPod as soon as it is connected to your PC. That's it! No hassle, no fuss - you don't even need to click the mouse. You can then listen to the latest sermons just about anywhere. At this stage, iPod users are not able to play the older sermons which are recorded in WMA format. You may want to download the latest version of iTunes using the link on the right to ensure you get access to all the latest features. Refer to our Podcast FAQ below for more details of how to set up your iPod. Listening on an MP3 deviceIf you have a media player other than an iPod just click the
download icon Listening on you mobile phoneSome mobile phones are now capable to playing MP3 files, although you may need to buy additional memory if you want to keep more than a couple of sermons on the phone at one time. Follow the same process as for MP3 devices. Listening on your PCTo check if you can listen to sermons online, click the MP3 test link on the right. If for some reason you are unable to play the MP3 test file, you may need to download the latest version of Windows Media Player using the link provided on the right. Podcast FAQQ. Will you be converting the older sermons in to MP3 format?A. There are no plans to at this stage but we may do in the future. Q. How do I get the podcast feed?A. Just click on the podcast icon on the right and it will appear in iTunes. Q. Why isn't the podcast updating on my iPod?A. If you can see the podcast in iTunes but it does not get copied to your iPod when you update it, select Edit...Preferences and then the iPod tab and the podcasts tab beneath that. Check that automatically update all podcasts is selected. Q. How do I copy a new sermon to my iPod?A. Conect your iPod using a USB cable, if you have automatic sync set up your iPod will be automatically updated. That's it! You may need to start iTunes and select File...Update iPod if you do not have automatic sync set up. |
