For the Community - Splash Kidz Club

'Splash' is a club for children aged 4 - 11yrs. It has been running since 1999 and has provided a fun venue for kids to come along in the mornings during the summer holidays. Through bible stories, puppets, games and crafts and lively songs children experience the goodness of God and what the Church of Jesus Christ is all about all in the context of a fun, safe friendly atmosphere.

Over the past few years we have introduced other events such as;

The Lord of Light party
held on Oct 31st as an alternative to other Halloween parties.

Valentine party
Held on valentines day children have a party tea and play games and sing songs and more importantly find out how much God loves them.

Play Zone
This is an event for the whole family (0yrs to 11yrs) that is held at various times during the year where parents can come along to the Church with their children on a Saturday morning and play on a huge inflatable castle, do some crafts whilst the younger ones (2-3) can play on the 'Soft play' equipment. Parents can relax, have a coffee knowing that their children are having a great time.

Christmas Special
During the Christmas period last year we held an event as a service to the parents of Bishops Waltham and surrounding area by which parents could drop their children off at the Church where they had a fun day doing various crafts, games and watching Christmassy films and nativity story from the bible so that the parents could go off and do some much needed Christmas shopping. This proved to be a great success and as a result we are planning to hold another one this year.

The Aim
Spalsh kids Club events seek to serve the families of Bishops Waltham by not only providing a fun, safe atmosphere for kids to be in but also teaching these children that there is a God who loves them and has a great plan for their lives.

Coming Up
For 2009 we have a range of events lined up including Family/Kids Cinema nights/mornings for kids/whole family at The Kings Christian Centre. Details will be posted on the Events page, so watch that space for more.
