The God who sees and watches over you
It was wonderful to be together on Sunday to be encouraged by the news that the Lord sees us, that the Lord watches over us, and the fact that the Lord notices the things we do for His glory and kingdom.
Psalm 121 reinforces the fact that the Lord is close to us, and watches over us throughout our lives here on earth and on into eternity! He’s never distracted or too busy to pay attention and He needs to pay no heed to social distancing rules! He’s in the love and care of our friends; unexpected provision and help at just the right time; the prayers of your church family and the unexplainable peace you feel during times of trial.
We also heard how the Lord sees all that we do. Sometimes our behaviour is dictated by what want people to think of us but if we live our lives in obedience to God, understanding that He knows us better than we know ourselves and living to please Him, we need have no fear of what others think.
Our loving Heavenly Father is ready to forgive us when we do wrong and take pleasure in all that we do for Him and His glory because He notices everything!
